PTKR/IBECPT
Play Therapy Standards are ratified by the IBECPT. PTI administers the standards on behalf of the IBECPT, monitors the appropriateness and effectiveness and proposes changes when it is felt necessary. PTKR administers the standards in Korea on behalf of PTI and the IBECPT.
In order to become a Certified Play Therapist it is necessary to:
Successfully complete a PTI/PTKR accredited post graduate training course at Diploma level including a minimum of 200 hours clinically supervised work with children and/or adolescents.
Be a current member of PTI or an affiliated organization such as PTKR, PTUK etc, observing an appropriate ethical framework.
Have clinical supervision of at least 1.5 hours every month of practice
Carry out clinical governance procedures.

In order to become a Certified Practitioner of Therapeutic Play it is necessary to :

Successfully complete a PTI/PTKR accredited post graduate training course at Certificate level including a minimum of 100 hours clinically supervised work with children.
Be a current member of PTI or an affiliated organization such as PTKR, PTUK etc, observing an appropriate ethical framework.
Have clinical supervision of at least 1.5 hours every month of practice
Carry out clinical governance procedures.
In order to become a Certified Filial Play Coach/Mentor it is necessary to :
Successfully complete a PTI/PTKR accredited post graduate Filial Play Coaching training course including a minimum of 100 hours clinically supervised work with parents and children.
Be a current member of PTI or an affiliated organization such as PTKR, PTUK etc, observing an appropriate ethical framework.
Have clinical supervision of at least 1.5 hours every month of practice
Carry out clinical governance procedures.
